Set the Baud Rate for both the Gas and Crinds in this section.

If you are setting up more than one type of dispenser and only 1 gas type has card readers, then setup the gas type of the one with card readers to Gas 1.

When setting up Crinds, the COM port for the Crinds should come before the dispenser port. This means if the Crind Port is set to COM3 the Gas Port should be set to COM4.

Additional Information

To allow a prepay on a Wayne dispenser if handle is lifted before the cashier setup a gas prepay the following needs to be set on the Decade 2400 by the pump dealer:

Mode 33, Sub 9, set to option 2

The CAT board in the EC box needs to have the jumpers to be setup at follows. Usually the only one that needs to be changed is JP29 but it doesn’t hurt to double check them all.

Running the Wayne Config Program

Before installing a new Wayne site, put this program in the /home/sitecon/sc directory, make sure it's executable with 'chmod a+x wynconf', and run it using

'./wynconf nn COMx baud', ----- e.g. './wynconf 2 COM4 4800' for the labs Wayne dispensers.

To log the information produced by the program use,

'./wynconf nn COMx baud >wynconf.txt'  This text file can be any name, ta175cfg.txt

The next version should identify if the installation is standard, i.e. NOGTP is not required. Finally for non-standard installations a gaswyn.conf file will be output that should make NOGTP unnecessary.

Below is a sample from the lab.

**** NOTE ****

It may be necessary to have the pump tech change the setting in the dispenser head macros, so that the “Hose to Position” is correct.  Options 24 & 51 are in the head and keep in mind of the positions on each side.  They are either “mirrored” or “Reversed”.  Normal “Hose to Position” are 3 = Unleaded (Lowest Grade) 5 Mid-Grade (Blended), 7 = Premium.
